Grace Cottage Family Health & Hospital in Vermont is seeking a Patient Safety Technician to work under direction within an LNA scope of practice. You will assist with patient and unit needs, ensuring a safe, clean environment and efficient operations.

The role includes clerical duties, stocking supplies, and vigilant observation to support nursing staff. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for excellent patient care and teamwork.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current AHA BLS certification within 3 months is required.
• Able to communicate effectively and provide patient-centered care.
• Prior healthcare experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient care and services within LNA scope as delegated.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient and unit needs.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain stocked, clean patient units.
• Report changes in patient condition to the primary nurse and escalate as needed.
• Assist with ambulation, dressing, and meal delivery; transport patients as needed.
• Document observations in the medical record.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional communication.
• Answer call lights and manage clerical duties.
• Conduct hourly rounds for patient experience and safety checks.
• Assist with unit organization and cleanliness.
