Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Patient Observation Assistant roles at Columbia St Mary Milwaukee, 2301 North Lake Drive, Milwaukee, WI 53211. The fixed pay rate is $16.00 per hour.

Online applications are accepted only. As a Patient Observation Assistant, you will visually and audibly monitor the assigned patient under the direction of a Registered Nurse and unit manager, document observations, and respond to patient needs with compassion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent is required.
• CPR AED or BLS-HCP certification required within 30 days of hire, if required at the facility.
• Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• One to two years of previous experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visually and audibly monitors the assigned patient's condition and behavior.
• Completes observation reports at established intervals.
• Responds to patient needs with compassion and professionalism.
• Escorts patients during diagnostic testing and assists with safety.
