Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring Patient Dining Associates (Dietary Aide) at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX. Full-time and part-time roles with 12-hour shifts; 6:00 am to 7:00 pm; weekends/holidays rotating.

Previous food service and customer service experience preferred; bilingual a plus. You’ll join a caring team focused on nourishing patients and families, with benefits for full-time and part-time staff and opportunities to contribute to patient

Qualifications

• Previous food service and customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with menu selections and coordinate with nursing to ensure nutritional needs.
• Assemble meals and retrieve trays on schedule.
• Ensure accuracy and proper temperature of meals.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain sanitation.
• Report issues to appropriate staff promptly.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports per policies.
