Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, part of Compass Group, is hiring a Patient Dining Associate (Dietary Aide) for McLeod Dillon in Dillon, SC. The role is full-time, 40 hours weekly with rotating weekends and a $15.00 hourly pay. Prior healthcare serving experience is preferred. Online applications are accepted only.

Responsibilities include patient meal assembly, delivery, and ensuring nutritional requirements are met, while maintaining HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and interpret documents in English.
• Basic computer and mathematical skills.
• Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds, as well as maneuver and push food delivery carts.

Responsibilities

• Help patients understand their menu selections and ensure orders meet nutritional requirements.
• Work with caregivers and culinary team to determine menu alternatives for allergies and preferences.
• Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient’s menu selection.
• Complies with federal, state and JCAHO regulations and HIPAA policies.
• Follow HACCP guidelines when handling food and maintaining work stations.
• Assist dietitians with patients on restricted diets and communicate issues promptly.
• Complete daily/weekly/monthly reports per Morrison policies.
• Adhere to facility sanitation and infection control procedures.
