Job summary

Fundamental in Oakland supports a caring team and helps residents with daily comfort in a non-clinical role. The Hospitality Aide works alongside the nursing department to ensure patient well-being through light duties and compassionate service.

Responsibilities include making beds, passing water, serving and removing trays, answering call lights, cleaning/change linens, and assisting with patient transport. Strong English, reliability, and a respectful demeanor are required.

Qualifications

• Must care for elderly and chronically ill residents.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to write simple records and reports under supervision.
• Pleasant and courteous manner.
• Speak, understand, and write fluently in English.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Make beds.
• Pass water to patients.
• Serve / remove food trays.
• Answer call lights.
• Clean / change linens.
• Transporting patients around the facility.
• Inventory patient’s personal items upon admission.
• Perform other non-nursing activities.
