Job summary

Avera Gregory Healthcare Center is seeking a PRN Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine patient care in a compassionate, multidisciplinary team environment. Responsibilities include assisting with ambulation, bathing, nutrition, and coordination of care under nurse or physician direction.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, direct patient care including ambulation, bathing, positioning, meal assistance and charting.
• Responds promptly to patient call lights and respects patient belongings.
• Greets visitors, answers inquiries, helps with messages, gifts, mail, and runs department errands.
• Assists patients in and out of wheelchairs and supports mobility as needed.
• Operates paging, answers phones, and coordinates appointments with departments.
• Performs clerical duties related to admissions, discharges, and chart preparation.
