Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, direct patient care: ambulating, bathing, positioning, feeding, and basic care.
• Greeting patients and assisting with inquiries, errands, and mail for patients.
• Assists with wheelchairs, monitors intake/output, may collect specimens.
• Answers calls, uses paging system, and assists during emergencies.
• Prepares requisitions and coordinates outpatient appointments and services.
• Requests chaplain, social services, or pastoral care as directed.
• Performs clerical duties for admissions, discharges, and charting.
• Maintains orderly patient rooms and assists with cleaning duties.
