Job summary

Qualifications

• Patient Care Technician I: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Patient Care Technician II: High school diploma/GED and ONE of the following requirements must be met.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree
• At least 1 year work experience in a .6 FTE PCT I position at MUSC CHS
• 1 year of experience in a healthcare facility
• Active enrollment in nursing school with completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited institution
• Active enrollment in a healthcare related field from an accredited institution
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, performs multi-skilled activities to support patient-centered care.
• Reports to Nurse Manager and assists in achieving desired patient outcomes.
