Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician to support basic care, comfort, and safety of patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. You will join a dedicated team delivering compassionate, multi-skilled care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with daily activities, recording measurements, and coordinating with nurses for patient needs, meals, and nutrition.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read/write and perform basic math.
• Desire to help people and pursue healthcare.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Vital Signs, height and weight, oxygen saturation monitoring.
• Report unusual observations to the nurse.
• Collect specimens for analysis and record intake/output.
• Provide personal care and assist with daily activities.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under RN supervision.
• Provide nutrition support and coordinate room service/meal setup.

Formação académica

CNA Certification (preferred)
