Job summary

Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine LLC is hiring a Patient Care Tech to join its clinical team. You will greet and room patients, collect vitals, and review medical histories to support practitioners in delivering compassionate care.

You will perform injections, phlebotomy, and assist with procedures, including occupational medicine testing such as DOT physicals and pre‑employment exams. A Medical Assistant credential and CPR/AED are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certificate/License or higher required.
• CPR & AED certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients; record vitals including height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and oxygen saturation.
• Complete patient intake; review medical and social history, medications, and chief complaint.
• Assist with tests such as Hgb Mc, Quick Strep, Rapid Flu, Urine Dip, and pregnancy tests as needed.
• Place lab orders, schedule follow-ups, and relay results and messages to Practitioners.
• Perform injections, phlebotomy, and assist with procedures and EKGs.
• Conduct Occupational Medicine testing (DOT physicals, pre-employment exams).
• Open/close rooms, stock supplies, and sterilize instruments.
• Answer phones, check in/out patients, verify insurance, process referrals.
• Adhere to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties to support clinic operations.
