Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in Westminster, CO is seeking a Patient Care Tech to support clinicians and provide compassionate patient care. The role involves taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant Certificate/License or higher required.
• Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Greets and rooms patients and records vitals (height, weight, temp, pulse, resp, SpO2).
• Completes intake including medical history, social history, medications, and chief complaint.
• Anticipates tests needed (Hgb Mc, Quick Strep, Rapid Flu, Urine Dip, pregnancy test).
• Conducts call backs with lab results, refills, re-scheduling, and messages.
• Administers injections, phlebotomy, assists with procedures, nebulizers, and EKGs.
• Performs Occupational Medicine testing including DOT physicals and Pre-Employment Exams.
• Opens, closes, cleans, stocks exam rooms; autoclaves instruments.
• Answers phones, checks in/out patients, verifies insurance, processes referrals.
• Adheres to professional standards and facility policies; complies with regulations.
• Participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Performs other duties to support office operations.
