Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine LLC is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team in Colorado. The role involves greeting and rooming patients, taking vitals, reviewing medical history and chief complaints, and assisting with routine tests and procedures.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a Medical Assistant certificate/licensure or higher, plus CPR/AED certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Medical Assistant Certificate/License or higher required or preferred.
• Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Greets and rooms patients and records vitals (height, weight, temp, pulse, respiration, pulse oximetry).
• Completes patient intake by reviewing medical history, social history, medications, and chief complaint.
• Orders and assists with tests and procedures as directed (Hgb Mc, Quick Strep, Rapid Flu, Urine Dip, pregnancy test).
• Conducts follow-up communications for labs, refills, and scheduling.
• Performs injections, phlebotomy, assists with procedures, nebulizers, and EKGs.
• Conducts Occupational Medicine testing including DOT physicals and pre-employment exams.
• Opens/closes rooms, cleans, stocks, and autoclaves instruments.
• Answers phones, checks in/out patients, verify insurance, collect payments, process referrals.
• Complies with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Performs any other duties to support office operations.
