Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support registered nurses in delivering direct and indirect patient care. Under supervision, you will assist with activities of daily living, apply basic nursing procedures, and help maintain patient safety and comfort across units.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in direct patient care preferred.
• Current Heart Saver CPR Certification.
• Registered CNA I or CNA II with Maryland Board of Nursing Examiners.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety under direct nurse supervision.
• Assist activities of daily living and support routine patient care tasks.
• Take vitals, record inputs/outputs, and assist with specimen collection.
• Maintain clean, stocked patient rooms and assist with admissions/transfers.
• Utilize electronic medical records for documentation.
