Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) at St. Vincent Medical Center. The role supports direct patient care under RN supervision, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in acute care, physician's office, home health/hospice, or long term care facility preferred.
• Knowledge of patient safety standards and regulations (falls, skin breakdown, environment of care).
• Epic EHR training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Act as liaison between patient and nurse to report changes.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to patients and families.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the EHR.
• Assist with mobility and daily living activities as directed.
• Report concerns and participate in hand-offs and care planning.
