Job summary

HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge in Colorado is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join a collaborative nursing team, supporting Registered Nurses with hands-on care and creating a safe, welcoming environment for patients.

You will assist with vital signs, mobility, daily living needs, and help monitor conditions and care plans. This role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and restoring comfort while upholding our mission to improve lives daily.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of start date.
• Certification as a CNA.
• High School diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
