Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in Englewood, CO is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, vital signs, mobility, and personal care in a busy hospital setting. You will work as part of a collaborative nursing team, maintain safety and comfort, keep areas clean, manage supplies, and communicate with patients and families to uphold compassionate care.

Requirements include CNA certification, Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days, and a High School diploma

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in progress.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• BCLS to be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support care and recovery.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Maintain clean, organized patient areas and stock supplies to support safety and efficiency.
• Manage supplies, equipment and logs to support infection control and readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families and care team to support safety and quality.
