Job summary

HCA HealthONE Presbyterian St. Luke's in Denver is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support registered nurses, help with vital signs, mobility, and personal care, and contribute to a safe, welcoming patient environment.

You will assist with positioning, dressing changes, skin protection, and help maintain clean, stocked patient areas, while communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to uphold safety and quality.

Qualifications

• CNA certification is required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Asisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.
