Responsibilities

• Observe and report patient concerns to a registered nurse immediately.
• Assist the RN with admissions, transfers, discharges, and general patient care tasks.
• Record vital signs and assist with personal hygiene and comfort measures.
• Assist in specimen collection and other assigned patient activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment to help prevent infections and ensure safety.
• Communicate with RN about nutrition issues or diet changes.
