Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date required.
• Prior patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report patient concerns/changes to RN promptly.
• Assist RN with admission, transfer, discharge and general patient care duties.
• Record vital signs and assist with hygiene and comfort measures; monitor intake/output.
• Assist in specimen collection and other activities for assigned patients.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment to prevent infection and ensure safety.
• Report equipment issues to appropriate personnel per department procedures.
