Job summary

Surgery Partners is seeking a Nursing Assistant to perform routine non-professional care under supervision. The role involves bathing, dressing, feeding patients, taking vital signs, collecting specimens and supporting nursing staff with procedures.

Responsibilities include documenting data, ensuring patient dignity, applying aseptic technique, and assisting with emergencies. Six months of related experience and a current BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• At least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn. BLS certificate.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs accurately and document promptly.
• Provide basic patient care including bathing, feeding, grooming and mobility.
• Assist with procedures and post-procedure care as directed.
• Maintain aseptic technique and assist with specimen collection.
• Support nursing staff during emergencies and with equipment.
• Document patient data and communicate changes to the nurse.
• Maintain clean, organized clinical areas and professional appearance.
