Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to attend 2 weeks of training.
• Able to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic math skills and basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care activities and document care in the EMR (ADLs, vital signs, ambulation, intake/output, meals).
• Participate in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives (bedside shift report, hourly rounding, safety practices, hygiene).
• Document vitals, I&O, weights, restraints, and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with unit activities (supply stocking, equipment cleaning, transport).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
