Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of one of: PCT/CNA/MA program or nursing fundamentals program or HMHPCT Apprenticeship or equivalent medical background.
• Able to learn quickly with strong teamwork and patient focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support under RN supervision.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and satisfaction as part of the care team.
• Support interdisciplinary collaboration from admission to discharge.
• Perform routine tasks and participate in PI activities.
• Prepare patients for assessment and procedures, and document findings.
• Obtain vitals, glucose, and collect specimens as directed.
• Assist with transport, hygiene, feeding and daily living activities.
• Maintain equipment readiness and code cart checks.
• Adhere to organizational competencies and standards.
