Qualifications

• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: GED or equivalent; completion of CNA/MA/PCT program or Fundamentals of Nursing; PCT Apprenticeship or related medical background.
• Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: phlebotomy, EKG, vital signs and blood sugar experience; 1 year PCT/CNA hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on age and clinical criteria; ensure safe and effective outcomes.
• Communicate with patients, nursing staff and healthcare team about patient status.
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning from admission to discharge; engage in PI activities.
