Job summary

Qualifications

• BCLS certification required within 180 days of employment.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to use customary equipment for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living (ADL), feeding, grooming, mobility, and related tasks.
• Monitors patient health through vital signs and glucose checks; reports changes to the nurse.
• Observes patient status and communicates updates to the supervisor or nurse.
• Completes timely, accurate documentation of patient care to maintain legal records.
• Practices infection prevention measures consistently.
• Helps ensure adequate stock and supplies for patient care.
• Keeps patient rooms and work areas clean and safe.
• Responds to patient calls promptly and assists with paperwork as needed.
