Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a patient care assistant to support patients with daily living activities and documentation in Evansville, IN. You will assist with movement, monitor changes, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include discharge paperwork, chart maintenance, Teletracking updates, and equipment checks. Weekend rotations apply; BLS certification is preferred within the first month of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider Certification preferred or required within 1 month of hire.
• Proven ability to support patients and document care accurately.
• Experience in a hospital or clinical environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and daily living activities.
• Guide and assist patients with movement and positioning.
• Identify and report changes in patients' conditions to nursing staff.
• Document patient care and observations promptly.
• Maintain clean, orderly patient rooms and equipment.
• Complete discharge paperwork and coordinate with teams.
• Update Teletracking and maintain logs.
