Job summary

Community Health Systems seeks a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care at 7950 W Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, and mobility, under RN/LPN supervision.

0-2 years of acute care experience preferred; CNA and BCLS certifications are encouraged. This full-time, day-shift position emphasizes patient safety, teamwork, and adherence to infection control and privacy

Responsibilities

• Support patients with meals, hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
• Assist with positioning, transfer, and use of mobility aids.
• Collect samples and monitor glucose as directed.
• Communicate patient information clearly to the care team.
