Tenet Healthcare’s DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital seeks a a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to support the patient care services team in Oakland County. The PCA will assist with multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse, reporting any deviations in patient parameters.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and adherence to safety, privacy, and infection control standards while participating in continuous improvement and staff collaboration.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a school of practical nursing or completion of one of the listed programs.
• PCA/PCT, CNA, Medical Assistant, EMT, or phlebotomy training with six months of direct patient care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with care team to ensure consistency and quality of care.
• Performs basic patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (feeding, bathing, toileting, hygiene).
• Reports changes in patient condition to the nurse and responds to emergencies.
• Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality; adheres to safety and infection control standards.
• Performs general clerical duties as needed (phones, greets patients).
• Participates in ongoing education and competency maintenance.
