Job summary

Phoenixville Hospital, part of Tower Health, is seeking staff to provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role includes routine direct patient care, following established policies to ensure patient safety and comfort, and reporting changes in patient condition to the RN.

Responsibilities also include phlebotomy and POCT, assisting with daily living activities, hygiene, and patient vitals, on a 30-bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit located in Phoenixville, PA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse.
• Perform routine direct patient care activities following policies and procedures for patient safety and comfort.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to the registered nurse.
• Perform phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT).
• Assist in daily living activities including hygiene, changings, light housekeeping, and patient vitals.
