Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to work under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will provide direct patient care, assist with ADLs, collect specimens, and help manage IV access while following age- and condition-specific guidelines.

The role serves Ortho & Neuro patients, includes training, and requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant direct care experience or certification. Various shifts and full/part-time options available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT.
• Nursing fundamentals completed for student BSN nurses.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs, including bathing, toileting, transferring, and feeding.
• Collect and send specimens and manage peripheral IVs as needed.
• Document patient information accurately to meet data requirements.
• Care for Ortho & Neuro patients, including post-surgery and fracture care.
