Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Technician for a full-time day shift at our Fort Wayne, IN location. The role supports RN/LPN staff by delivering delegated patient care, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities in a safe, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities include data collection, proper documentation, mobility assistance, and adherence to infection control practices. CNA/BCLS credentials or active pursuit of CNA preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA certification preferred or pursuing CNA.

Responsabilités

• Assists nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collects and records vital signs and basic patient data, reporting to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Supports patients with activities of daily living and mobility needs.
