Community Health Systems, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Technician to support nursing staff in a busy Fort Wayne, IN facility during night shifts. The PCT will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient comfort, and help maintain a safe, clean care environment.

Under RN/LPN supervision, you will record vital signs, assist with feeding and mobility, and ensure proper infection control and PPE usage. High school graduate with 0-2 years acute care preferred; BCLS required within 90 days.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of acute care experience or current nursing student is preferred.
• BCLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living and basic patient care.
• Record vital signs and report to RN/LPN.
• Support meals, grooming, mobility and elimination needs.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and use PPE.
• Communicate effectively with care team and document observations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety.
