Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care as assigned.
• Performs patient phlebotomy as assigned.
• Maintains accurate paper and electronic documentation.
• Communicates and informs appropriate personnel, patients and family of pertinent information in a timely manner.
• Utilizes equipment and supplies safely; orders supplies as needed; labels specimens correctly.
• Performs basic nursing care and transports assigned patients.
• Shows proficiency in blood collection and performs task in timely and accurate manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
