Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with patients, visitors and staff both orally and in writing.
• Validation of required performance skills and completion of orientation.
• AHA BLS certification within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient needs.
• Record vital signs and report abnormalities to nurse.
• Support dietary needs and assist with meals as directed.
• Maintain patient safety and one-to-one observation as required.
• Assist in specimen collection and basic hygiene tasks.
