Job summary

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Care Partner (CNA) to support nurses in delivering high-quality patient care. You will take vital signs, monitor glucose, assist with daily living activities, and ensure supplies are stocked at bedside.

Effective communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team is essential. A High School diploma or equivalent is required; CNA certification is preferred, with BLS due within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurse in providing patient care within scope of education and experience.
• Take vital signs and document data in the EMR.
• Demonstrate competency in orthostatic blood pressures.
• Monitor blood glucose and care for glucose monitoring procedures.
• Maintain/stock supplies at patient rooms and units.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
