Upperline Health Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator for our Munster, IN clinic. This part-time role focuses on warm front-desk reception, scheduling, and ensuring accurate patient check-in and smooth visit flow.

You will support physicians in delivering coordinated care, manage patient records in the EMR, and handle payments with professionalism. Ideal candidates bring medical office experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Front desk experience in a medical setting required.
• Podiatry or orthopedic clinic experience preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience highly preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems; Athenahealth preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, patient-focused demeanor with professional conduct.
• Reliable transportation and ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk receptionist duties: greet patients, collect information, ensure clean entrance.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Notify physicians when patients have arrived to keep on-time schedules.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed.
• Collect payments from patients and update EMR records.
• Maintain office supplies and confidentiality of patient information.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
