Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH seeks a Nursing Assistant to support licensed clinicians on the Cardiovascular Unit 1. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, transport items, and help maintain a safe, clean environment.

Responsibilities include basic nursing tasks under RN supervision, recording vital signs, and using EMR for care documentation. CPR/BLS certified personnel are encouraged to apply and join a fast-paced, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• BLS/CPR certification per American Heart Association.
• CPR certification is required; basic PC skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed clinicians in direct and indirect patient care on the Cardiovascular Unit.
• Help patients with activities of daily living and maintain clean, safe patient rooms.
• Support patient experience with respectful, compassionate interactions and timely communication.
• Record vital signs and assist with basic nursing tasks under RN direction and EMR documentation.
• May assist with telemetry monitoring and transport of items for patient care.
