Job summary

Montefiore is seeking a Nursing Attendant to join our patient-care team. You will assist with daily living activities, maintain a safe, clean environment, and support nurses in delivering high-quality care across patient populations.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, mobility, feeding, and documentation while following infection control policies and patient privacy guidelines. Strong English communication and clinical exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Graduate of State Certified Program is required.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience as a nursing student/foreign graduate nurse is required.
• Effective English communication skills, both written and oral, are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living for patients across age groups.
• Maintain hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
• Observe and report patient conditions to the RN.
• Transport patients and assist with attendance and infection control.
• Provide and document patient care activities and support unit operations.
