Job summary

Mercy is looking for a Patient Care Assistant to support registered nurses and licensed practical nurses in delivering individualized patient care. You will work as part of a collaborative team to help patients achieve their highest level of wellness and comfort.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and may accept CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a healthcare program. Mercy provides a 175-hour training during orientation and requires BLS within 1 month of hire.

Qualifications

• Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC or enrollment in a healthcare program.
• BLS certification within one month of hire and PCA competencies within 3 months.
