Responsibilities

• Follows hospital safety policies including infection prevention and safe patient handling; notifies licensed nurse of patient changes.
• Performs basic patient care tasks under supervision: vital signs, glucometer checks, toileting, feeding, bathing, activity.
• Collaborates with nursing staff to meet patient needs and respond quickly to requests.
• Documents patient care activities to support clinical decisions.
• Communicates pertinent patient information to team members to improve outcomes.
