Job summary

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent with BLS and CPI certifications to be obtained within 30 days of hire; 3 months of personal care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support plan of care as delegated by staff nurse.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Provide patient care based on age-related needs as appropriate.
• Communicate care needs with patients, families, and staff.
• Document patient-related tasks accurately.
• Adapt interactions to patient population and obtain permissions when needed.
