Bon Secours Mercy Health in Ohio is seeking a Clinical Nursing Student for West Hospital to serve as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and gain clinical experience under the supervision of an RN.

You will provide direct patient care, assist with daily living activities, document vital signs, and communicate changes to the nursing team. Must be enrolled in a nursing program with one clinical course and rotation; HS/GED required; BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• HS/GED required.
• Currently enrolled in nursing program with at least one clinical nursing course and one clinical rotation.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care under RN guidance.
• Record vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Report changes or concerns to the nurse in charge.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation.
• Assist with mobility, feeding, hydration and hygiene needs.
• Participate in patient data collection and hand-offs.
