Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• BLS - Basic Life Support certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs and/or assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, walking).
• Assists in telemetry cardiac monitoring and communicates findings to licensed staff.
• Assists hospital visitors and staff with information needs and uses wireless devices for coordination.
• Accurately collects data (height, weight, vital signs, intake/output) and documents on forms.
• Performs basic delegated nursing tasks (e.g., fingerstick glucose, urine dipstick, wound care) as directed by the RN and under standard procedures.
