Landmark Medical Center, a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, RI, is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join its caring team. You will support patients with daily living activities and help maintain a safe, clean environment under the supervision of a registered nurse.

This part-time role (less than 60 hours per pay period) features a day shift from 6:45 am to 3:15 pm and requires basic healthcare certifications.

Qualifikationen

• Current phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Aufgaben

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
