Job summary

Foundation Health Partners in Fairbanks, AK is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide routine patient care and document on the medical record. You will assist with daily living activities, collect vital signs, and support care teams with procedures under supervision.

The role requires a CNA license, BLS, and strong organizational skills. Experience in medical clerical tasks and EMR usage is preferred. Onsite benefits include health plans and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current CNA license in state of practice as required by department policy.
• ECG or EEG interpretation course or on-the-job training with 85% passing score.
• 1 year of medical clerical experience or hospital/clinic exposure.
• Strong organizational, communication and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient health.
• Collect specimens and data (vital signs, input/output).
• Document data in medical records and communicate changes to care team.
• Assist with procedures and use equipment under supervision.
• Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
• Maintain and file patient records and chart forms.
• Order and manage supplies and medical equipment.
• Help transport patients as needed and assist with OR turnover.
