Central Peninsula Hospital in Soldotna, AK, seeks a CNA for the ICU to work full-time nights. The CNA provides basic ADL assistance and supports data collection under the RN, ensuring safe patient transport and accurate documentation on the unit.

Responsibilities include acting as a Safe Companion for high-observation patients and assisting with receptionist duties to help the nursing team run efficiently. Alaska license and BLSP are required.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and assists with data collection under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The CNA assists with inpatient care throughout nursing areas and is responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, and appropriate documentation of services. The CNA provides the services of a Safe Companion for any patient on a patient care unit who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his/her safety. The CNA assists as needed with general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate the efficient functioning of the nursing unit.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• State of Alaska CNA License
• BLSP from the American Heart Association
