Job summary

TEEMA Solutions Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, patient-centered care in a healthcare facility in Alaska. You will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor conditions, and support the nursing team to promote comfort and safety.

You will document vital signs, support transfers and mobility, maintain infection prevention standards, and ensure confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy.
• Recent experience in long-term care (LTC), skilled nursing (SNF), rehabilitation, hospital, or acute care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, mobility).
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other observations.
• Assist with transfers, positioning, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment while following infection prevention and safety standards.
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and facility policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
