Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification within 60 days of employment or transfer.
• Health care specialty training preferred.
• Competency testing via APC/ MT courses or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient condition.
• Perform intake and output measurements.
• Conduct EKGs and glucometry as ordered.
• Collect specimens and perform phlebotomy.
• Document all patient care activities.
• Follow treatment plans and ensure patient comfort.
• Assist in unit-based performance improvement and staff orientation.
• May float to other units per hospital policy.
