Job summary

Banner North Colorado Medical Center seeks a Nursing Assistant to provide routine patient care, assist with daily living activities, and document in electronic medical records. This role supports a fast-paced unit and communicates changes in patient status to the care team.

Responsibilities include data collection, specimen handling, basic procedures under supervision, and maintaining supplies. Eligible candidates will have CNA certification and BLS, with strong organizational and interpersonal

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Current CNA certification required for new hires and transfers.
BLS certification required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Know-how of medical terminology and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

Assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
Collect vital signs, specimens, input/output; document data.
Report abnormalities to licensed professionals and ensure continuity of care.
Perform delegated procedures and assist with unit-specific tasks under supervision.
Handle receptionist/clerical duties to support department operations.
Maintain complete patient records and ensure chart forms are accessible.
