Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our inpatient care team in Pembroke Pines, FL. Under the supervision of an RN, you will perform basic patient care, assist with daily living activities, and support plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care.

Candidates must hold a Florida CNA license or be in active certification, with BLS/ECARD credentials. EKG and phlebotomy competencies are required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• BLS/ECARD certification required by American Heart Association.
• Florida CNA license required or certification in progress.

Responsibilities

• Performs plan of care interventions including specimen collection and wound care.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and reactions to interventions.
• Contributes to patient assessment by collecting data for RN analysis.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation).
