Qualifications

• Previous experience in patient registration or admitting is preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and patient account terminology is helpful.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills; professional and discreet.

Responsibilities

• Explain hospital regulations, visiting hours, and charges to patients.
• Enter and verify admitting/registration information with accuracy.
• Maintain records and protect patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with departments to support patient flow.
• Build positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and partners.
• Assist visitors with directions and introductions to the right department.
• Keep workspace clean, stocked, and organized; participate in trainings.
• Complete assignments on time and work independently under supervision.
• Report safety hazards and follow written/oral instructions, including manuals.
• Collaborate with staff to meet department objectives and relations.
